Family Contact

Ardmonagh Family & Community Group have been delivering a Family Contact service from 2006, working in partnership with the Belfast Trust to deliver a service of high standard.
We provide a safe and neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents and other siblings.
We have improved the range of supervised and monitored family contacts, which, over the past year have been facilitated within child friendly rooms which are furnished and equipped to make them as close to a family environment as possible to ensure each family has a comfortable natural contact.

Our aim

We believe all children have equal rights to protection and are encouraged to fulfil their potential. We believe inequalities should be challenged and that everyone has a responsibility to support the care and protection of children.
Our aim is 'to improve quality of life that is, the physical, social, educational and emotional wellbeing of looked-after children and young people. The focus is on ensuring that organisations, professionals and carers work together to deliver high quality care'.
Our service working together with social services and families can improve the quality of life for looked-after children and young people; placing them at the heart of all decision making.
